Take on Global Warming, Pound by Pound

What is the Challenge?

Cool Capital Challenge unites individuals, schools, congregations, businesses, governments and other institutions to take a two-billion-pound bite out of the Capital Region's carbon dioxide emissions by 2009. The Challenge is like a fundraising campaign, only instead of pledging money, we are pledging the region's greenhouse gas emission reduction.  Check your pledge now to implement it. Here is how

Be Part of the Solution, Take the Challenge

When you "Take the Challenge", you will be able to calculate your carbon footprint, learn and choose some energy efficient, money-saving actions to reduce it, calculate your carbon and money savings, and make a pledge to reduce your carbon emissions. Learn about the steps to take the challenge.

When pledging you will be joining all the people in the region that are making this commitment. Don't forget to allocate your savings to your favorite team or create a new team, learn about team creation here.
